Conversations That Sell is full of straight forward and useful information on how to approach selling in today’s business world. Nancy Bleeke explains that sellers need to adapt to the way sales currently work, and that means using new sales techniques. Gone are the days of the slick shyster salesman; thanks to the internet and how easy information is to access, customers are too informed for this to work. Bleeke advocates straightforward, collaborative sales techniques that will benefit the salesperson, the customer, and the business, creating a win-win-win situation.

I really liked Bleeke’s advice and found this book both very insightful and useful. She outlines strong sales practices and details why they are useful today, how there are different types of customers (and how to meet each groups needs), and covers a five step sales system. I think this book is a complete guide for improving or learning sales skills, and is easy to read and follow.
I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Conversations that Sell is a great book for anyone who ┬┐sells┬┐

Conversations that Sell is a great book for anyone who “sells” ideas and solutions to others!  Nancy Bleeke provides a systematic approach, that when followed, results in success.  Her illustrative examples and real life scenarios help you relate to the concepts and make you see what you can already adapt about your own communication and selling style or adopt to be more effective.
If you’re  tired of sales books that “pitch” you ideas, be sure to read this one. It’s packed full of proven ideas that you can “tweak” to make your own instead of “must do this way” information.  It’s not designed to tell you what to do – instead, it gets you thinking about successful conversations that sell and what YOU can do to make yours more effective. Definitely a recipe for long term commitment and success!
Great insights for both professional and personal application.
