I got this book from the library tried out the recipes and every recipe ended up a winner at my house. I ended up buying the book because I used the recipes so much. The recipes were easy to follow (which is good because I am the most basic of cooks). I also like how she added milk to most recipes since I have trouble getting that in. Tasty meals that men really do love.
When I first started reading the recipes I was a little disappointed that the dishes were made with so many brand name products as to make it appear that Kraft underwrote the project. However, I proceeded to make many of the dishes and have met with a fair amount of success. And yes, they have almost all been winners with my boys. So if you enjoy using many convenience items from the grocery store shelves, this is a great book. I often substitute the ingredients she lists for fresher versions, but that is only personal preference. This is a great book for the time challenged cook.Was this review helpful? Tried it loved it.
I was recently put on a 1600 calorie diet including low sodium and low fat. I was very depressed. A friend let me borrow her book and the receipes in this book have helped me more than you will ever know.After making just two of the receipts I purchased a copy for myself and I can't wait to get the new version when it is released.
