    Very nice

This is a very sophisticated addition to any kitchen. Design (inside & out) is quite asthetic. I only had trouble keeping the book open, if one could even call this a complaint.

I loved the book. Those seasoned in the Italian kitchen, it's a wonderful library addition. The illustrations are beautiful and the final product actually looks like the illustration. May not be a must have for beginners. Two dusty thumbs UP!

I recently entertained 16 close friends serving 5 courses using only this book with a few exceptions including my own veal marsala and chicken piccata and a few alternate ingredients (home made Sponge Cake instead of store bought sponge flan shells).

All I can say is there were NO LEFTOVERS! The ingredients are simple and rich, the instructions clear and the presentations perfect. My children loved the Olive Bread and Deep Fried Mozzarella Sandwiches (I never mentioned the word "anchovy" when I described what was in the little sandwiches). The kids even ate the Asparagus Gratin. I had to make a quick substitute for the Zuccotto (dessert), as I could not find already prepared sponge flan and I didn't have time to research a recipe. I used my grandmother's Sponge Cake recipe and the it was delicious!
