    So Hot It's Kool

Cool Water, by the Sons of the Pioneers, is the baddest, hottest Cowboy record ever made. I listened to this bad boy with my daddy back at the ranch when I was a little shaver. We enjoyed our Steak Fries and Venison and listed to the sweet, sweet tones. This is an album that should be sampled by today's rappers or heavy-metal artists--it would be a #1 hit! This record is so hot, it's kool!

    CD verses Record

I own both the record and the CD. The record has better depth of sound, but this CD comes as close as any other I have found with the same songs. I found that the price is worth it to have absolutly crystal clear sound.

    A Most Excellent Reissue!!

I am not sure what Bruce Eder review was reviewing here, as many of his comments are incorrect. I have the original 1959 Cool Water LP, though in pretty poor condition (I think it originally belonged to my mother). Yes the original cover art was used ... including _all_ the notes on the back cover, plus an insert as well. Every song on the 1959 LP _is_ included on this CD, rather than half as indicated in Bruce Eder's review. It was great listening to this without all the pops, crackles and skips. In general, it sounded better than I expected, and it brought back a little of my childhood. My only real complaint is that the price it a bit high.
