I had been putting this one off for some reason but actually really liked it. The 2 MC's were very likable and it was a slow burn from their first meeting. We actually spend a lot of time with them as friends since Kurt has always considered himself straight. When Kurt comes to terms with his growing feelings for Davy, he goes alpha and Davy loses it in an unexpected way and everything falls apart. Kurt must then battle with coming to terms with his sexuality while trying to win Davy back. The story is told solely from Kurt's POV and there is quite a long separation that follows. I'm glad to see this is a series since  I would have liked a few more chapters of Kurt and Davy as a couple, although the epilogue gave and interesting but quick wrap up of one of the story lines I thought would be left hanging.

    First time

Great intro to this series and author. The MCs ease into the relationship and the sex is sparse but meaningful. Can't wait to read more.

This is my first book by this author and I loved it. It was well written and as other reviews have said, it take place over 18 months and the relationship between the two MC's grew slowly and realistically. The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice to explore Davy and Ben's relationship a little more and to know why Davy allowed Ben to cover up their relationship for so long. There's definitely a story there and it only makes sense that Kurt and Davy would have had a conversation about it.
