    CLAN ATTACK JOINING!!!

If you would like to join in this clan attack business, post here! You don't have to post a name, though that is optional (I just go by a random symbol I picked out &#1028). You don't have to attack any clans you belong to. If you want, post in your joining if you have a specific animal you will attack with, and anything else you want to add. If you are taking an attack request, post in the first res which clan you are attacking, so no one else goes there thinking they are the only one attacking! Everyone is accepted, and you don't have to join permanently either. Thanks for helping out!<p>

"A Must read" for a proud son of a Leatherneck

Griffin brings an outstanding portrayel of this countries previous generation, and the challenges and doubts they faced in a war we were not gauranteed to win. by providing an intimate look into the lives of his characters, both the priveliged, like the Pickerings, the dedicatied Marine families like the Steckers, or two brothers seeking a better life than their less than stellar home life in Philladelphia, who find a common esprit de corps in the Marine Corps, rapid advancement in wartime, and opportunites for sacrafice and heroism made all the more exciting for the realism provided by history. Personally these stories helped me to better know my Father and Uncles who served in these same Locations at the same time as these characters.
..for my Dad, Captain D.B.Thomas,USMC. and my Uncle. Col.George "Gibb" Gibson, USMC Aviation..SEMPER FI

    I Also Recommend:

Another outstanding tale from an master storyteller

Griffin weaves an intriguing tale in all his works and this is no exception. Characters come to life and the plot leaves the reader anxious to find out what's next. Repeating stories from previous books in series is necessary for readers who have not seen earlier books, but sometimes the repetetion produces a "we've heard this before" reaction. Well worth a read. Like all books in his series, a real keeper.
