Business Works Better without Labor
This is the most refreshing book I've read in many years from a labor leader not afraid to buck the system and admit that unions are hurting the American economy. Stern evocatively demonstrates how labor unions must cooperate with business to achieve the gains that we need to make America strong again. Workers need unions to keep them in check and preventing outrageous demands for higher wages. Hopefully the newly elected Democratic Congress will take heed of Stern's valuable lesson and oppose lifting the minimum wage and expand free trade that has made this a great nation. Bravo!
