ABOUT THE BOOK:Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Navy SEAL Reid Galvin is back from hell and eager to find comfort in Becca Anderson's arms. He knows he hurt her when he cut contact during his deployment, so when his call interrupts her date with another man, he has only himself to blame. But he can't forget what she means to him—or the sexy email she sent him—and he won't miss this chance to claim her as his own.
It's been weeks since Becca heard from the man she thought she was involved with. So when Reid wants to take up where they left off as if nothing happened, she refuses. Then he rescues her from a first date gone very wrong, and she realizes she's not quite ready to let him go.
Reid and Becca have a lot to talk about, but since she's not listening, he's going to have to regain her trust another way—by bringing her most erotic fantasies to life. Making her surrender to pleasure just might be his most important mission.
This was actually very touching! I loved the opening and found the entire story to be very sweet, sexy, and real. I loved the characters she developed and found each point made, one I gripped on to even more.
The suspense and danger in the piece was also great, but I do wish it would have given a bit more at the end, hence four stars instead of five, but the writing was on par, the romance hot and steamy, and the characters entirely lovable.
If you’re looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat for both suspense and sexiness, then pick this one up today! Four out of five stars for a great job!

Becca and Navy SEAL Reid have gone out on a couple of dates and she thought they had something special going but when she gets no response to an erotic email she figures he doesn’t feel the same. Now he is back from deployment and wants to get together but Becca has a date with a co-worker. When her dates car is pushed off the road it is Reid who saves them. Grateful for the rescue Becca agrees to hear Reid out. But it is going to take some sweet talking to get her past the hurt his silence has caused. Reid is better with action than words and her email has given him a way to get his feelings across.
Hmmm a sexy Navy SEAL, mystery, and a whole lot of steamy sex. What’s not to love? After an awkward beginning this book takes off like a freight train. Prepare for action and adventure inside the bedroom and out. If you like your military romantic suspense extra spicy this is the dish for you.

Callie writes suspense and military heroes so well. She does her research and knows her stuff. I don't normally read erotic romance, so this was a little different for me. Lots of hot intimate scenes that were well written along with a loving romance between Reid and Becca all while Becca had dangerous people after her regarding information she inadvertently discovered at work. Was this review helpful? Reid is back home after a long deployment to find Becca out with a colleague for the evening. He can't stand waiting around for her so he drives to her place. Along the way he comes up on a car accident - one that has a car underwater on the side of the road. He jumps in to help and finds out it is Becca and her colleague, David. Not quite the way Reid wanted his reunion with Becca to go. Reid and Becca spend time together over the weekend which allows them to explore their feelings for each other both in bed and out. While I know that the intimacy is what is supposed to drive a lot of this book, there was also a good story that goes along with it. One that showcases Reid's SEAL abilities as well as his protectiveness and love for Becca.
What I liked most about this book was that story started out with Reid and Becca already having a relationship. The conflict showed how Reid and Becca are going to handle their relationship with him being a SEAL and not around for periods of time. I thought Callie did a good job building this relationship on more than just intimacy. There was a level of love and trust that was developed between the two. There were some very touching moments, one particularly in which I teared up. The ending was perfect between Reid and Becca and the way the subplot was tied up was realistic and appropriate for the story. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys erotic romance with a little suspense.
