Cozy Crochet Kit: Simple Instructions and Tools for 25 Terrific Crochet Projects

I'm VERY impressed, and I am an advanced crocheter!

I purchased 2 of these, one for my daughter & one for my step-daughter, for Christmas giving. I am an advanced crocheter and they have both shown an interest, but they are out of the home now and don't really have the time to come over to learn. Both of them started almost as soon as the box was open! The instructions are very clear, the hooks are pretty nice for plastic (lighter & more practical for beginners), and there are tons of idea cards (that offer GREAT beginner options) with wonderful pictures to inspire that 'first' project! Huge hit...I was very pleased!

Good value, however, not for preteens

I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter. It is too difficult for her to follow the instructions, even with adult supervision. I think preteens don't have the patience or attention span required. It would make a great gift for teens and adults. Very clear, easy to follow instructions and illustrations.

I gave this as a gift to a person new to crochet. It has lots of easy patterns and is a great gift. The value was outstanding. I am going to borrow it myself. Thanks.

This was my first time with knitting and I had no problems. I was able to create a hat for my boyfriend and boots for my best friend's baby.
Really nice to start with. It has a lot of hooks, so you don't have to buy nothing other than the yarn. And just to start there is some yarn for the first project...so much fun!!
