Loved Quinn as a quirky heroine who deserves some passion in her life...and Nick was the perfect man to give it to her. He's actually one of my favs ever. Crusie does a great job of making her men real, complete with flaws and foul language, and I enjoyed the characters' journey to each other. Her books always have great humor, steamy passion, and fun supporting characters to sweeten the deal. Great for beach reading or with a glass of wine on a rainy day.

Good book

This is a cure story. Bet Me, though, is her best book BY FAR

Don't bother if you don't like profanity

I picked this book up because it sounded like a cute romance story. Imagine my surprise when the F-bombs started dropping like crazy. The profanity soured the book for me and made the author look ridiculous. It was like she was trying to merge "Driving Miss Daisy" with "Die Hard". Her books would be so much better if she kept the language and her characters more clean. I won't read another one if slutty, foul-mouthed characters are what I can expect.
