This is the only guide I ever needed for Chesapeake Sailing
Bill Schellenberger gives very accurate accounts of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, with detailed descriptions of navigation into Rivers and Creeks, Nav aids or the lack thereof, facilities, shore accessiblity, and aesthetic appraisal. In many cases he gives extraordinary descriptions sheltered anchorages (with ratings), lists marina facilites and services offered, and even includes the type of boating traffic you will likely find in the area. We are avid sailors (and gunkholers) and found his guidance, especially in terms of controlling depth, invaluable. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
