I found this book to be disappointing including the ending, which like two other Saul books I read doesn't seem like it truly ends at all. Three of his books that I read all seem to have that same theme in the endings, a negative that keeps repeating itself.

Good story line and interesting characters. My only problem with this and the other 4 books by John Saul is the typo and grammer errors. In almost every chapter of the nook book version I've found at least one word used in place of the correct word, or found a period (.) missing. It may be a ebook thing and not found in the printed versions. I don't know, but it distracts me when I read. It's a minor problem but that's my only negative comment. Other than that it's a good read.

    What a great ghost story...

I found Cry For The Strangers very entertaining. It is a quick read and very good. The storyline is very interesting. The characters are well developed and become quite likeable. It takes place on the seashore of a small town and has mystic happenings that will keep you wondering. I certainly recommend it.

    Different, but Good

Not one of my favorite John Saul books, but still a good read. It has the normal Saul twists and suspense of the unknown. Yet, not quite up to par with The Homing and Right Hand of Evil.
