    a splendid book

We bought this book at a little bookshop during our holidays in the Dordogne for approximately ¿ 25,00 for our 14 year old daughter, who is very much into drawing and painting these days.It is a magnificent book and there is much to learn from it, when you start drawing people and animals. A Necessity for the Art of Muscles

When I saw this great tome at the store, I thought it was too good to be true. After purchasing it for a paltry $10, I discovered the pages contained countless (read: 1500+) images of the skeletal and muscular system of humans and other mammals, along with a preface containing pieces about posture and clothing. Since I bough it almost three months ago, I've been using it nonstop for its precise presentation of muscles in the human body, mainly. Being interested in the art of Alex Grey, I found it very helpful. You should buy this book not only if you want to draw muscles and bones, but want a greater knowledge of what lies beneath the skin to better portray mammals naturally. I recommend this for any artist.
