    Vogue Loses, The Met Wins

Diana Vreeland was one of a kind. Born the unattractive daughter to a mother who prized beauty, she never let it get her down, never hated her sister for being pretty like their mother. This book brings out the eccentricity that dwelled within her, along with fantastic taste and an eye for knockout fashion and decor.

I recall Vogue under D.V., and was sad to see her ousted by the magazine. But her work at the Metropolitan was a gift to those of us who love great fashion.

It was okay, although you need a lot more description. Some conflict would also be good.

I will give you four stars on this one. It was way too short and the description was semi good. Other than my little issues, it had a great idea to it. Continue, I would enjoy seeing how good this will turn out.

    Prolouge of Doveheart's Battle

Skyflurry bites the stick, giving birth to two tiny kits. One, the female, was pure white. The other, the male, was pure black. She looked down at her newborn kits happily. Her mate, Lioncall stood behind her proudly. The deputy had news arrivals in his family. - Darkness &hearts Thank you for reading this. If you like post review. Three reviews and i will continue. Also need about 7 cat applications. Leader, Med, Warriors, Paws, and kits. Thanks see you soon!

    Pants on fire

I read this because I knew it was if not untruthful, full of lapses of memory and omissions. A too-sunny story of a life, that in truth was eventful. One of the stars of fasion editing.

    A rollicking read!

Mrs Vreeland captures herself perfectly - the totally individual personality and voice which we knew of, PLUS the amazing early years which were new to us. A woman like no other, a life like no other—rich with incident. It's interesting that she remembers many of these incidents by what she was wearing, in detail. Few autobios are this much fun to read.
