    A WALK WORTH TAKING

I AM NOT THE BIGGEST DIANE LANE OR VIGGO MORTENSEN FAN. THE DRAW FOR ME WAS THE ALWAYS SUPERB LIEV SCHREIBER WHO WAS AT HIS BEST IN THIS FILM.THE ADDED BONUS OF THE REST OF THE CAST'S GREAT INPUT WAS THE ICING ON THE CAKE.

    Decisions, Decisions

After seeing Lord of the Rings, I did some searching for other films with Viggo Mortensen, and found this little gem. A walk on the Moon has three major events occurring in a family vacationing in the katskills. (1)The mother is having an affair with the Blouseman, a traveling salesman (with such unexpected depth, as played by Viggo, that by the end of the movie, you're unsure whether or not she SHOULD go back to her less-than-sympathetic-husband, Leiv Schreiber; (2)Her daughter has fallen in love with a local boy,and (3)the rest of the world is enthralled by seeing man's first walk on the moon. It's also worth the price of admission for Viggo's brief nude scene.
