It's All About the Clothes and the Period it Represents
My wife and I find it an evening of dated fun. As My wife says, "It's all about the clothes." The mysteries are mostly silly, but the language and the various artifacts including the cars of the period make this series very entertaining. Was this review helpful? The one thing we like about British mystery is it allows the viewer to sift through the clues throughout the episodes and to attempt to solve the case along with the characters at the end. We are tired of todays instant gratification of knowing who or what the evil entity or guilty party is in the first five minutes.
Tommy and Tuppence is to be enjoyed with a large bowel of pop corn, some pleasant refreshment and the company of someone with whom you want to share a quiet funfilled evening with.
