A Must Have for any Wayne Dyer Fan
You can NOT read or listen to Dr. Dyer without coming away with something meaningful and useful in your own life. Then to turn around and use that meaningfulness for yourself is the grace that Dr. Dyer wants to share with everyone.
This is a wonderful, inspiring DVD. I'm happy to have it in my collection.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Entertaining and Thought provoking
Dr Wayne Dyer is an inspiration, I have listened to him on PBS and also read his books and listened to many of his works on CD's. This DVD is great for helping you figure those things out that we all are trying to figure out... He did a great job... Things happen for a reason, and "Timing is everything and everthing is on time"... And when we come to realize this, life becomes less stressful. Worth the time to watch...

Ambition to Meaning: Finding Your Life's Purpose is an evocative reminder to "take time to stop and smell the roses."
The story is oddly told with Dr. Dyer playing himself being interviewed for some kind of film, but don't let that get in your way. The rest of the characters are actors portraying people in various stages of life with the malaise that settles in when ambition, or a lack there of, takes over one's day to day living.
The coastal retreat setting is beautiful and one by one the characters encounter Dyer, coming from their own perspective, baggage firmly in tow. Each chance encounter leaves a mark, reminding us there really are no chance encounters and to keep our eyes and hearts more open and, perhaps, our mouths shut a bit more.
Rare is the person who does not need to hear or see this story periodically to cause us to reevaluate how we're doing and where we're heading. This film provides another lesson in how easy it is to miss "the small stuff" and a reminder to find beauty and gratitude daily.
This film would be wonderful for 12 Step groups, church or civic organizations or older youth groups to watch and discuss. Families might find it interesting vehicle for conversation and life lessons as well.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
