Captivating, Engaging, Up to Date with Current Situations

This is a great movie. Our daughter is 8 and in 2nd grade. She is already facing some of these same issues and being picked on! It is a great movie for your children, a class, school, or just inviting friends over for a movie. The parents even get involved with watching - what happens next!

    perfect for my daughter

We live in Iowa and are getting ready to move, which means a new school for my daughter. This story really hit home for her, but its positive message helped her realize that even if its tough at first, she can make really great new friends whereever she is.

Absolutely wonderful -- a MUST for children in today's world!

This is a wonderful story with situations that happen to children every day all over this country. Bullying has been going on for a long time and will continue. Hopefully, this video will give children the understanding and courage to stand up for themselves. This story shows that you do not have to fight back with violence only courage to stand up and speak out. There is a set (2) books that go with this video and I highly recommend them as well. At the end of the books are situations and solutions that were written by children and a must see for the children of today. Hopefully, these books and video get children to talking with one another about bullying and give them the courage to stand up for themselves and their friends.

    Learn what some have forgotten

I watched this already, saw the trailer and thought how brave of the producers to put this out to the public. It's one thing to write a book, but another to put in on TV - kids tend to really get watching a story sometimes more than hearing or reading about one. This is a lesson we could all learn from no matter what stage you are in life. Bullying happens to all - towns, cities, neighborhoods, etc. As with anything, recognizing it is taking the first step in making the issue any better! Way to go American Girl!!
