A sexy, witty, and funny movie for a fun night...
This is a movie of how two completely different people overcome everything from impotence to a crime boss on their heels. Asia Argento delivers a knockout performance as B, a fun loving thief with a dark mentality towards life. At a bar, she is spotted by Alan (Jared Harris) who instantly falls for this black haired beauty. The two soon start to see each other, overcoming sexuality and personal problems with the other. In the mix toss in Paul (played excellently by Rupert Everett) B's friend and a mentor in some aspects, who owes money to people who would see him, and B dead. As the couple chase happiness and normalcy, B is quickly drawn back into her world of crime, and quickly decides to get out of it again, and this time for good. The film keeps an intensity and style throughout it that are hard to match. It only gets better in the end, where things are resolved unexpectedly, and not for the best of everyone. This is a film worthy of owning, worthy of drooling over,(due mostly to Asia's body baring performance) and worthy of watching more than once. It comes straight at the watcher, daring them to leave the seat, cause you never know what will happen next. MSD.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
