    Better The Second Time Around

What can I say about this film that hasn't already been said? Well Like most of us who have seen this film there is a great devide; you either love it or hate it! I was one of the haters for numerous reasons. i.e. For being tricked into beleiving this was real, for feeling cheated out of my money and a lagit movie going experience, and the list goes on and on. And like most of us out there who felt this way I swore to never see, let alone spend another red cent on this film. Then one day while walking through my favorite electronics store, I just happen to pass the discount movie bin and what should I happen to find staring up at me? You got it, "The Blair Witch". I suddenly as from out of nowhere I felt compelled to pick it up and buy it. (Didn't hurt that I was bored and the thing was going for $4 bucks!) And so I did it, I went against my sworn oath and I bought The dreaded Blair Witch Project. Once I finally got home and looked at it I thought to myself, "What the hell were you thinking? You're never going to watch this!". And so I struggled for hours on whether or not to put it in the dvd player and subject myself to what I had ultimately doomed as the mind numbing torture of this horrific cinematic farse! Then I did it, I put it in, and I waited for the inevitable explosion of my brain. But, much to my surprise that didn't happen. Instead what did happen was that I found myself enjoying this, overly simple but rather creative suspense movie...Because that's what this is, a suspense movie, not a "HORROR". And by the end of it I actually did feel saticefied and admitedly rather uneasy. So my recomendation is if you hated The Blair Witch Project the first time, give it another try. And who knows maybe you'll be like me and like it better the second time around ;)

Not the best but pretty good.

This movie I am forced to give a four because even though it did not scare me it did keep me entertained. It is worth a rent and if you like those kind of movies you should buy it. This movie is probably a classic. Hell I bought it.

Something we haven't seen since the 70's.

This fake documentary type movie hasn't been seen since the Italian canniabl movies from the 70's like Cannibal Holocaust. Everyone hates it but hey, look how many people were fooled by it.
