    Not Jerry's Best Effort........

This is the period when Jerry wanted to sing seriously in a movie. Not his best choice. Fella's 'coming out' song sung in the cellar is probably the part of the movie that requires the most patience to get through. However, the comedy still holds up. The long dinner table scene where Fella is trying to eat and serve stepmother and stepbrothers is hilarious.

    Jerry Lewis at his best!

I have always loved Jerry Lewis movies. Cinderfella is right there with the Nutty Professor. I have a copy of this movie on VHS and have been waiting for it in DVD. The best scene in the movie is when he is in the kitchen and a song he likes comes on the radio. You have got to see that scene. It is classic Jerry Lewis. If you are a Jerry Lewis fan, this is a must have for your DVD collection.
