    AWESOME!!!

I loved this movie!!! It is an animated musical and if you like Daft Punk's music you'll love this! Just one thing though...it is kinda sad...so get prepared for your eyes to watter...but it happens for a good cause. Please watch it!

Spellbinding Marriage of Music and Anime

A compilation of videos made in a truely artistic collabaration between Electronica group Daft Punk and legendary anime and manga artist Leiji Matsumoto. INTERSTELLA 5555 is enjoyable to watch and without dialogue, deftly tells the Story of an alien rock group, who were kidnapped and brought to Earth, who become by no will of their own become corporate puppets. In the end, with the help of their fans, return to their homeworld after defeating their evil manager, who was using them as well as other musically talented alien species, to rule the universe.

    Excellent!!!

This movie is basically an electronic music opera (if you can call it that) set to animation. It is totally cool and fun to watch! If you already have Daft Punk's 'Discovery' album, this DVD is the perfect companion, because all of the songs on that album are intertwined in with this movie.
