Watch for Jeremy Renner in the future!
Although we have little sympathy for serial killers, Jeremy Renner did for Jeffery Dahmer what Charlize Theron did for Aileen Wuornos...made you feel some sort of empathy. This film turned out to not be what I was expecting, which was a horror film. Instead, it was full of emotion and inner conflict, portrayed brilliantly by Renner. It was more about his connection, or lack thereof, with his victims rather than the crimes he commited. Sure, there were some unsettling things about the film. He was, after all, a serial killer. But, I found myself intrigued by David Jacobson's unique storytelling of such a grousome subject, but more so by Renner's portrayal. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
