    In Love with Johnny Depp

This is the movie where I first fell in love with Johnny Depp. Just as Fail Safe is a movie that all world politicians should be required to view, Don Juan DeMarco is a film that every man should see. For they need to "really, really, really, . . . really, really, really love a woman."

WHAT A CAST! WHAT A HOOT!

I enjoyed this movie when it was first issued because of the performance by Marlon Brando and because of the theme song, "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman." Though Marlon Brando was 'way past playing leading man roles, his performance here was very appealing on a more mature level, and Faye Dunaway was graceful in her role of the pleasantly surprised wife of a man of retirement age whose sexual interest in him and in their relationship is revived. Johnny Depp was believable as Don Juan de Marco, a gentle and passionate lover of over 1000 needy women. The theme song added so much to the story, as theme songs should. All in all, a very entertaining though under-appreciated movie.

Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando show why they are among the chosen few

Johnny Depp in one of his finest performances.
Marlon Brando jumps through the screen with wisdom, energy and understated class.
Faye Dunaway is sexy, interesting and a sensuel woman through and through.

Don Juan De Marco is a movie to be seen many times. Each time Johnny Depp seem to show a different perspective, a different approach and a different version of the legendary Don Juan De Marco.
Showing that he can match the amazing Marlon Brando in each and every scene they share - Johnny Depp, even then, proved that he (as well as Marlon Brando) are among te chosen few whose talents are above and beyond what most actors can even dream of achieving.

    WOOT

This movie is an extrodianry movie. Johny depp plays such a magnificent lover... such a passionate man (with a nasty habit of making half of it up) that you cant help but wonder if its all true. He truly is the 'greatest lover the world has ever seen'. I would recomend this if you are looking for a real life movie that defies real life, and sweeps you into the fantastical.
