A little confusing and a little mature

This movie was the one of those movies that you had to look at every scene to really get into. I mean the first 10 minutes is just shameless sex. It's really an introduction of their life style and how they tried to be all "gansta". However, I still don't see what the real purpose of this movie was. Okay, 2 girls from the upper side of L.A. ride to the downtown east side ( the quote unquote ghetto) to join a gang? What the hell? I mean ok I know it's just a movie but some of it seems really over the top. Teenagers don't act like this, at least the ones that I know. So the primous of this movie (if you get anything from it) is that pretty girls shouldn't go to the ghetto. Yeah, that was a lessioned learned. If you like seeing random teenage girls have sex this movie is very much for you.

Get past the first 15 minutes, pretty good!

FREDDY RODRIGEZ from "Six Feet Under" was exemplary. Not a scent of insincerety was noted. Movie was mostly credible, except the white guys trying to HOMIES--did not work! Overacting to the enth degree. 16 Street gang members always had the edge over LA socialites. No comparison. Homies had alot more class than beverly hills white trash. This is real. Maybe a little overdone, but at least one person's view of life changed, Allison's. I can't give it FOUR STARS. This would negate SEVEN, CITIZEN X, WONDERLAND, PRIMAL FEAR, MURDER IN THE FIRST, JUST CAUSE and HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG.
