I'm Tired Of HSM!!!!! Where's the remote?

When the movie first came out I thought 'yeah! This movie is ok and is alright.' but It's been a YEAR! A YEAR! And there still doing musicals ad doing pop ups for HSM! I MEAN STOP THE MADNESS! I'm sick and tired of the movie and I'm about to go crazy if I see it again. I thought it was ok but now I'm just tired of it. It's like a toe fungus. It's a ok movie but I'm not obessed and about to scream "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ROCKS! PLAY IT AGAIN!" Because I'm frankly tired of the movie and am not that thrilled to see A HSM 2 around for another year. Watch there probably be a HSM 10. I honestly do not remember the movie Rip girls (A personal favorite) being in the spotlight nor Gotta Kick It Up! Those movies deserve to be in the spotlight. Anyways , down to the point. The movie isn't very original. Girl meets guy , girl ends up going to same school (real Original) , girl and boy fall for each other , boy and girls friends end up seperating the 2 and then they help them get back 2gether. That's really original. I'm sure that someone didn't already think of that.. And last.. What's with all the dancing and singing? A musical had soul , has heart , and has a plot.Unlike HSM. I mean , when I go to eat lunch I don't just break out dancing and singing. Where's the drama. The only thing dramatic was when the girl's heart got broken. And it doesn't deal with real things - All they do is sing , dance , and talk. I can honestly say that I'm not going to be sitting around watching my tv when HSM 2 comes out.

    How Sad...

This movie was perfect for anyone from ages 3-11 who is a Disney channel watcher, but after that it is overall cheesey!!! Besides that, Zac E. is so bad at trying to follow the voice of the guy who actually is singing, a pretty face, but not so talented.

    Milking something that's dry

Okay, it's been what, over a year now? Can they please stop making up more excuses to further the merchandising for this movie? I mean, the DVD came out, why was this special edition brought out a year later? The movie was alright when it first came out (for the kids and teens anyway) but now the movie has just played out. Please Disney, just announce this movie as over and wait to release more DVDs when the second part of this movie comes out.

    Disappointing

I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't like this movie! It wasn't the worst movie and I guess it was an okay made for tv movie but I expected better. All my friends knew the songs and people sang at least three of the song's at my school's talent show but I just don't think it was that great. Zac Efron was a good singer but the acting wasn't very good. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone except a little kid. I'm surpised it appeals to teenagers that much (I mean 13 and 14 year olds). Don't waste your time unless you are a kid or have one.

    definitely not worth your money

This movie is the worst I've seen in a very long time. Anyone familiar with musicals must have thought this a joke. The songs are too few and dispersed throughout, and the story is unrealistic and immature. It feels like the script was written entirely by a 10 year old. Nothing really remarkable happens, the characters are not only boring but entirely flat, and of COURSE, everyone is friends at the end, even the "evil" sharpay. HUGE disappointment. Don't bother watching this.

Can any of these reviewers that loved the movie give me one good reason why they watch it other than Zac Efron is so hot? Come on people this is just another disney movie. get over it. I give it 2 stars for a good effort.

    Should be called "Fantasy Musical"

The plot is very unrealistic and cliche. Everyone (surprise surprise) looks great, has talent and is happy-go-lucky. I challenge you to find a real high school like that. The actors can't act or sing. They bring little teeny boppers into a fake world of "high school" that they'll never find.

    High School Musical

High School Musical has a very boring, typical plot and computerized singing. Being a broadway performer, I dont think that these "wanna bees" should take the credit for singing when technology is the one singing. Its good for kids who dont know any better and wouldnt recommend this movie to anyone over fifteen.
