    Powerful, subtle & moving

This is one of the most powerful movies I have ever seen. It works on every level. It is flawlessly written, acted, and directed. If you haven't seen it, you can't see it soon enough. It will remind you what great art can accomplish.

    A Spectacular Movie!

This is one of the truly classic movies that gets little of the credit it deserves. The gravity of the subject matter is lightened by the fantastic personality that Gerry Conlon conveyed in his book. Daniel Day-Lewis delivers Conlon to the audience in an honest and emotional performance. I can't praise this movie enough!

    Incredible

This is an amazing film from start to finish. Emma Thompson and Pete Postelthwaite turn in excellent performances in the supporting roles, and Daniel Day-Lewis is certainly one of the best actors of his generation. Disturbing, thought-provoking, and incredible to watch, ''In the Name of the Father'' is highly recommended!
