Perhaps the best movie I saw in 2006!

This movie was a sports story that I was not familiar with. Even though a few changes were made regarding the true story of Vince Papale, the heart of his story was kept intact. The movie dialogue was very well written. You do not even have to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan to enjoy this movie. Mark Wahlberg does a great job playing Vince Papale! It was also nice to see Greg Kinear portray Dick Vermeil as the new Philadelphia Eagles couch. A friend told me that the 28 minute Documentary about Vince Papale was every bit as good as the movie itself. As a result, I will have to buy this DVD shortly.

    Invincible one of Disney's Finest

Vince Papale's story is legend in Ealges and NFL lore. Disney, with Miracle, The Rookie, and Remember the Titans under their belt, took on this legendary story of Papale's rise from the South Philly streets to the Eagles lineup. Wahlberg's portrayal of #83 is wonderful and Kinnear's Vermeil job is great as well. The film captures the true feelings of the Eagles faithful in the blue-collar area of the city and, despite it being gone, took on the Vet digitally and does a good job with that too. For any sports, football, or diehard Birds fan, this one is just for you. E-A-G-L-E-S...EAGLES!!!
