    Not the best collection

I was disappointed in the cartoons selected for this set. Only about half of the cartoons in this collection are really funny ones. Disc One has all Bugs Bunny but only a handful of these are worth having -- for example, it includes the one where the witch drinks the potion that makes her beautiful, the one with 'Finster' the baby-faced bank robber, and the one where Bugs goes home with Dr. Jekyll. Disc 2 contains all Road Runner (which are okay if you like those). Disc 3 contains all Tweetie/Sylvester cartoons (which are great). The final disc is called 'Looney Tunes All Stars on Stage and Screen' and I thought it really had only two cartoons that I liked or remembered from my childhood: the 'Back Alley Uproar' where Sylvester yowls all night and keeps Porky Pig awake, and the one with that little green singing frog. Most of what's included are really old, not-very-funny ones that I don't remember ever seeing before. Warner Bros. has yet to release some of the very best (like the Academy Award winning Knighty Knight Bugs), so maybe a third installment of the Golden Collection will be the real payday. Mean time, I recommend that you try to rent Vol. 2 before buying it to see if it is worth the money for you. Golden Collection Vol. 1 was better.
