    more from this reviewer

What else can be said other than this is just great classic television. We have been buying each season for our son on various holidays, and he thoroughly enjoys them. He is 13, so this just goes to show the timelessness and relevance of this show. The characters are engaging and likeable (even Frank Burns!), and some of the topics of the episodes are quite thought-provoking. Talking about various episodes has also led our family into some deep philosophical discussions about war and humanity. Our son has also engaged in self-guided research about the Korean War due to his interest in this series. If you have never watched this series, go out and get season one NOW!! This is what television should be: entertaining, witty, and thought provoking.

    M*A*S*H Season 9

This is one of my favorites in the series of MASH. My brother and I used to watch MASH as kids, and then my father and I would watch the re-runs and laugh and make jokes about the clever lines that were used by the characters who became so familiar to us. This season includes a couple of favorite episodes; one is where the entire episode scans a whole year. Another episode is very touching when the doctors are asked to answer letters written to them by children back in the States. MASH can make you laugh and cry, and allow you to experience what life was like for people involved in any war situation. Thoroughly enjoyable!
