    Beautiful but Cliche

THis was a beautiful movie, but the plot seemed to have so much in common with all of Gaiman's plots combined with that of Labrynth. The visuals were spectacular, though.

    Unique and imaginative

Despite previous reviews, this movie was very good. It was imaginative and unique. Some might say it is "tedious" with "no emotion" , but I believe this movie offered an appealing plot, a stimulating score, and captavating cinematography for both the child and adult alike.

    Tedious Mess

How a film with such extravagant Imagery can be so incredibly boring is a lesson for any student of film. Wonder after wonder floats across the screen without reason in a meaningless display so tedious it is literally astounding! How can so many wonders be so dull? The plot is idiotic, the world has no rules, the characters act like deranged automatons, the performances are stilted, the direction is abysmal and it seems to have been written by someone who has never experienced the simplest of human emotions, if that is possible. The film even violates the rules it has set up. Mirrormask is a literal guide of what not to do when writing or directing a film. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

    An Adventure..

Although this movie may lack the nostalgia that will forever remain with the other Henson company movies, it still is quite captivating. The story of a young frustrated girl's journey through some very strange and beautiful places is magical enough to transport you along with her. Dont ever guess what may happen next half the fun lies in the mystery.

    Excellent dreamscape reality

This movie is amazing! The many artists who designed the graphics were all personally selected by the directer and it shows. Mirrormask is often compared to "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Wizard of Oz", but "Mirrormask" is more than capable to holding its own.

    Graphics bring it home

The story and plot line lack a little, but the amazing, awe filled computer graphics made it worth it. Even if you don't like the plot, watch it just for the pictures. I loved the half bird/ half gorilla creatures.

    More than I expected

I read the synopsis and was pleasantly surprised at how good the movie turned out to be. Quite the fantasy world. She has an imagination many would kill for. I loved it and I want the movie.
