    big disapointment

I agree it's great to have this series in any form but can't believe that you could release a third season without key songs included. I don't care what they cost pay the piper and we'll pay Universal... double the price... anything, but don't release these episodes like this. What a dissapointment to finally own my favorite episode, Wake-Up Call, and find that Coolin Medley by the Cheiftains has been replaced by a piece of sorry elevator music. I could forgive some little background snippet of music on the jukebox in the brick, but this is the tune that brings the whole episode together at the end of the episode and is vital to carry the emotion of the whole episode. Shame on you Universal, get your act together!

Top notch TV that no longer exists

This is a wonderful TV series that has people we all would like to know. Forget the music that is misisng and just enjoy people interacting with people. This is so much more enjoyable than the boring crime shows that now hit the air waves!

Bad discs. Already buying my third set

I am so disappointed with this set. What a waste for such a great show. The first time I bought this set I watched it five times and the first disc gave out. I had my second set for less than a week and the third disc is already not working (despite cleaning and cleaning it). I am not complaining about the show (Northern Exposure is one of my favorite shows and there is not a bad episode or season). The set is very prone to skipping and not playing. If enough people complain, maybe Universal will consider putting all episoes on one side of each disc and put 4 or 5 single sided discs, instead of 3 double sided discs. As a show, Northern Exposure will always be rated at 5-stars.

    Missing Episodes, Missing Music.

I enjoyed all the episodes, in the 3 seasons. There was one episode with Maurice diving from small cliff into a river that I could not find in any of the 3 seasons. Also all the episodes which included the young man who lived in a protective bubble were missing. I think his name was Anthony Edwards. Important music was also missing from many episodes. Very sad, but still worth watching.

    What happened to the music?

There was some key music left out, the music helped make the show great.
