    I Also Recommend:

    Pre-Plugs Piven at his finest!

This has been a favorite of mine since middle school. It informed my opinion about what a college experience should be. Full of mid-nineties Political Correctness gone awry, this is a must see if you liked Animal House and Back to School. After you've watched this movie a few times, turn on the unintentionally hilarious commentary track with Jeremy Piven: he complains about the lack of artistic integrity on set (they wouldn't let him improvise). Look for Jon Favreau and David Spade in killer supporting roles.

    Funny as Hell

This movie makes you laugh from the time it starts until it ends. I wish college was this fun.

    Don't expect to learn anything

A serious student entering college is gradually converted to the idea that partying is the purpose of college. The P.C. of the title merely refers to groups protesting various things, a view so mild as to be a whitewash of the actual situation. There are no movies of what is really going on in colleges nowadays, but you could check out the novel, 'The Rape of Alma Mater.'

If you want to laugh hard, get this classic college comedy. It will entertain you over and over through the years.

    Cult Classic

Is PCU serious political commentary? No way. An example of imporant, artistic film-making? Nope. PCU is funny, and that's all it tries to be. Being a vegetarian, lesbian, and feminist I still found it funny, even though I would most likely have had meatballs thrown on my head if I was in the movie. Basically, don't expect PCU to split the atom and you'll enjoy it.

Piven as cute as you like him.

Had very funny parts and you couldn't wait to see what Piven was going to do next. The ending was a little weak. Kinda left you with wanting more.
