An excellent DVD of a group that made a huge difference!!!

I simply love this DVD because it represents where Peter, Paul and Mary came from and how they became a group. It's also a fantastic way of showing people who Peter, Paul and Mary are and what they have been through. I strongly suggest that anyone that enjoys PP&M's music, to purchase this DVD.

Human Rights History of the 60's, 70's 80's through fabulous Folk Music of the times.

This musical history of Folk Music with primarily the group Peter, Paul and Mary was a history not only of Folk music coming to the fore in the 60's and 70's but also a flash back of the struggle for civil rights in the U.S. and for human rights across the world. Also shown were great singers and song writers such as Richie Havens, John Denver etc. To anyone who lived through these times it has strong emotion through the fabulous music as well as the 'documentary' quality of the film from those times, showing footage from Martin Luther King and the freedom marches to the war in El Salvador. Not only is this an enjoyable film but a great history lesson. It should be used in schools to teach our children about the freedoms this music helped to promote and accomplish.
