    Incredible, but disturbing.

    The technical part of this film (the angles, the effects) are amazing and should be commended. I gave this a four stars because, although I find this movie outstanding and recommed this to most, some viewers may be highly unnerved by the in-the-face drug use and sexuality. After seeing the real-life consequences of stupid choices, I know that I was in tears. I would say that this movie is best watched cautiously for the first time.

    Not for the sqeamish

    Overall I did not enjoy this movie. It was a very direct look at harder lifestyles and the results that come out of them. After the movie was over I felt very depressed. However, if you enjoy the technicality and quality of films then you would enjoy this. The filming was great as well as the acting. I just didn't care for the story.

    Requiem

    Requiem in particular is a captivating and truly moving piece of art. I stumbled across it by accident but has without a doubt edged into my favourite 5 films ever produced; it really is that special and I would recommend it to anyone. Leto was outstanding, as was his the actress who played his character's mother (I'm sorry, but I forget her name)

    I can't rate this movie high enough.

    Being from Brooklyn born and raised, this film hits hard. As it is straight up truth. I can honestly say this is one of the greatest films to ever lit up the screens. After watching this film, Your views on life will change. It is that powerful.

    Excellent pieces of work!!

    Pi and Requiem for a dream were very great movies. They were special in there own ways. The style of filming and the stories them selves. But I recommend never to watch these movies when you are depressed.

    Great Stuff

    If u love indie films, you'll appreciate this one. It's got amazing camera angles and fabulous acting..It;s very realistic...Definitely a must see!

    Visually stunning!

    I'm warning you, this is one movie you should not see when you are depressed. In a story of the drug underworld and the two ''businessmen'' and their quest to make money. I'm serious, it freaks you out. It's still good though.
