ROBERT MITCHUM was cool before cool existed

I love Robert Mitchum, and all his movies. I especially like this one as he and Jane Russell's interview is in it, as well as their movie MACAO. (This is the only way to get it.) This set includes a number of movies which show the diversity MITCHUM can act in, being funny, scary, and especially handsone. All the movies here are worth seeing over and over again, as well as to others who haven't yet discovered his wonderful talents. Having made over 130 movies, he has such style, and seems to not be so "Hollywood", e.g. love(d) being an actor so much. Before Brando and Janes Dean, there was MITCHUM...unfortunately, he was underrated - and didn't seem to mind which type of movie he was in unlike others who always wanted to be the good guys since there are some people who can't differentiate between stage and screen presence. He may not have been a song and dance actor, but with a woman alone, he could dance one-on-one in a setting which was to be romantic. If you like MITCHUM, then you know what I mean! (PS in the FILM NOIR collection, I think II, there is one a great movie of his, again with Jane Russell, and also a very funny (against type) Vincent Price: "His Kind of Woman". There are also some good movies in this set, and it is the best of the "Noir" sets in my opinion. ("His Kind of Woman" is a REALLY GOOD MOVIE!) Mitchum, the good guy - against the bag guy, and when Vincent Price (an actor in the movie) joins him it gets really funny as well as an "on the edge of your seat" movie. If you like classic movies and espeically the 40's-60's: you must get to know ROBERT MITCHUM!
