    RODNEY YEE'S AM YOGA

I would like say I have Rodneys am yoga and fell in love with it..I am a beginner and overweight but felt so comfortable doing the poses not to mention how great I feel after using this dvd, I have a hard time meditating or even trying to relax but Rodneys aproach is perfect all around. I never wanted to do yoga because I felt it was only for people with perfect bodies and in great shape, now I realize it is for everyone. My 5 year old daughter even joins me and wants to get up with me to do it before work/school I am getting hooked on yoga thanks to Rodney. I can't wait to get his beginners dvd....

    One of my favorite videos!

Due to my family circumstances (single working mom), a gym membership is not the best option for my schedule. Therefore, I employ a variety of fitness videos to exercise at home. I had been searching for a yoga program that offered clear instruction and an effective program without a lot of new age language. "Rodney Yee's Yoga for Beginners" fits the bill. The 40 minute pose training session offers an excellent introduction to yoga as well as giving specific examples which highlight proper form for each pose. Plus, the training section is also a great workout! For the days when I do not have as much time, I use the 20 minute morning routine which is a great way to start the day. I have definitely noticed an increase in my strength and flexibility since using this video. It highly recommend this yoga program!

Good for someone new to yoga.

I enjoyed and are still enjoying this dvd. It is great for a beginner like me. It is easy to follow and you can do it at your own pace.

    Start with Rodney

Rodney Yee is one of the premier yoga instructors today. This video is excellent for someone just starting out. Also, I would recommend other Gaiam videos as a great resource for men as well as women. My husband resisted yoga because he viewed it as a women's activity. After I got him to watch the Rodney Yee video, he started up and gradually started taking classes in a studio. Rodney comes across as a graceful warrior and shows the masculine side of yoga well.

    Excellent Beginners Yoga DVD

I was looking for something to ease into Yoga and this fits the bill perfectly. Rodney Yee and his wife Colleen Saidman take you through each of the poses slowly assuring that you understand the posture and the breathing.
This video is not filled with Eastern religious philosophy, but instead focuses on creating a sense of calm and peace while taking the body through easy poses that stretch and strengthen.
Anyone can do these practices, but you will come away knowing that you have done something great for your body.
