An Amusing Existential Romp
Shaggy, of course, is the Stranger to Scooby's Curly (of 3 Stooges fame, not Steinbeck)... Shaggy easiy carries this extended film, overcoming a myriad obstacles despite drug abuse, unrequited love, and a truly cynical pessimism. He is a hero in the mold of Odysseus and Heracles... mythic in scale and biblical in scope. One hopes he continues to endure despite the overtly Satantic and vicious diatribe that is Scrappy Doo (who, to my knowledge does not appear in this film, but whose aura haunts all Doo films, for good or for ill... mainly for ill).
