    Let's be honest

The first time you watch this movie, you're like 'what a bad chick flick'. and then, because I said it is such a hilarious movie, you pop it back in and watch it a second time. Now you realize how funny it is, and are thankful you didn't pass this comedy by leaving it with a bad reputation. The first time I saw it was in the theater, and the love scene by the pool left me confused and a little creeped out because of the fact that Ethan was taping it. The next probably hundred times I watched it, I couldn't stop laughing. Honestly, I can't see a single reason why you wouldn't like this movie after you get past the initial viewing. Take the extra hour and thirty odd minutes, do yourself a favor, and with an open mind, enjoy ethan's creepy knome jokes, bum fight, and hair doll. It really is laugh-out-loud funny, I promise.

    BEST MOVIE EVER

This movie has the funniest character ever created, ''Cool'' Ethan (Jason Schwartzman). With lines like ''I like you, you're smart. I'll probably give you a nickname'' , it makes for the funniest, most random movie ever. Yes, there are some gross moments, but they just add to the HILlARIOUS characters. The story is standard comedy, but what makes it stand out is Cool Ethan and how off the wall and absurd he is. All of the characters react in turn to him, adding to the feeling of ''....WHAT just happened?'' Watch it with an open mind, and just take each character for who they are, and you'll end up loving every minute of it. A lot of it is unrealistic, but that's the point. ps - Cool Ethan inspired me to take up the sport of unicycling...

    It's Cool

While ''Slackers'' did have it's sick moments, it was a cool movie to watch. The actors went perfectly with their characters, so we didn't did a wierd feeling like ''Ok, why don't you just give him the script to read off of, we know he's faking''. It was easier to concentrate on the storyline, which wasn't that bad. Three guys get busted cheating and they have to set a loser up with a babe to stay in school, because the little suck-up has prove they're bad. So my final comment? This movie rocks, and for the teens out there who will be watching this, read the teen reviews, parents don't see things the way that we do!

    Worth a look

Don't blame the writer! Hollywood insiders know that David H. Steinberg (''American Pie 2'') wrote a great script that starting a bidding war back in 1999. But Craig Mazin (''Senseless'' and ''Rocketman'') was brought on and wrote (uncredited) the shooting script. First-time director Dewey Nicks made matters worse with his clearly incompetent direction. And Destination Films went out of business, delaying the film for a year, so you might say, the film was doomed. But it always seems to get fierce reactions (good and bad), so it's worth taking a look to judge it for yourself.
