Enjoyable. We will miss our friends on Voyager
Although the overall story like is weaker than that of its companion series, "Deep Space Nine" ("DS9"), "Star Trek Voyager" ("STV") has a charm of its own. The first few seasons seemed to focus on the Ocampa character "Kess", while the later seasons focused on the former borg drone "Seven of Nine" (aka "Seven") and her sometimes humorous other times poignant efforts to recover her human nature. Both actresses were good and they stood out from most of the other cast members. "The Doctor" was also a reasonably strong character, but his story line was less consistent and less sympathetic. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The writing could be unsatisfying at times and some of the plots seemed contrived (how many times can a star ship commander make the same mistake and "take a closer look" at some weird phenomenon without first putting some kind of exit strategy in place?). Also, the science seemed really bad in spots. All-in-all, STV is worth watching, however. It is mostly light, harmless fun interspersed with some genuinely good storytelling.
What was missing were the grand story arcs and interesting sub-plots of DS9.
