    Amazing movie!

The movie Step Up 2 is about a teen named Andie, who after getting in some trouble for street dancing, is sent to a school of the arts where she finds she doesn't fit in. After becoming friends with Chase, they form a crew with other outcasts of the school and start their journey to battle in the streets.
I personally loved this movie and think that Step Up 2 is a great sequel to the original Step Up! It brings all the dancing and drama of the first film while also being able to stand alone. Even if you had never seen the original Step Up, you would not be lost when watching Step Up 2.
Step Up 2 had amazing dance choreography. The dancing was so original and I could not take my eyes off the screen whenever they got into a dance scene. The characters move in ways that seem physically impossible. It's a type of dancing I had never really been exposed to before and so it was so fascinating to see it for the first time. The stunts these dancers did absolutely took my breath away. If you like hip-hop dancing, you will love this film. The fact that the main characters are all real dancers and not just actors trained to dance really made a difference in this movie. They bring their expertise to the film which makes the dancing real and authentic.
Not only was the dancing amazing but the whole plot of the movie is very realistic. Hip-hop dancing is very popular among teens and so to have this be the main focus of the film really connects it to the teen population. The scenes flow very well together and everything was well thought out and integrated into the film. The set, costumes, and even the music all connected very well together. The music of the movie was very upbeat and vibrant which complemented the hip-hop feel of the film extremely well and added a positive energy to the whole thing. Having the music tie in well with the film added to its overall appeal. I enjoyed the music so much that I went out and bought the soundtrack of the film.
I would recommend this movie to anyone. Drama, suspense, love, and also incredible dancing are all rolled into this movie. Even if you don't know a thing about dancing you will enjoy this movie. While this movie isn't a comedy it does have occasional jokes that make me laugh which is also why I love it. Younger children should stay away from this movie because there are some scenes of violence and also some swearing. Teens would especially love this movie because of the upbeat music and dancing. It's fun, exciting, and the dancing is captivating. It makes you want to go out and try some of the dance moves yourself. Overall, it's a great movie and I recommend it and the original Step Up too.

    Even better than the first!

With a movie like this I don't expect much out of the plot and dialog, but this movie was great all over. Not to mention the choreography was phenominal.

&quot The best dance movie ever&quot

The overall plot of the movie was ok but the dance scenes were sick. From the first dance with Tyler from the original movie till the end with them battling it out. This is the best dance movie I've ever seen. Your boy Chris Brown should of been in the movie also. But they can always make a Step Up 3 with him and Ciara.
