So Very Sorkin
If you love Aaron Sorkin's work, you will love this short-lived series. If you find it annoying, please move along. The actors are all great and there are plenty of cool guest stars. Judd Hirsch and Allison Janney in particular come to mind.
The other good news is that the series had enough notice of its pending doom that it had a decent finale. I wish that NBC had given it a better chance in the first place.

What Might Have Been
If you need to blame someone for the demise of this show, blame Aaron Sorkin. A talented guy, to be sure, but his self-indulgence and (dare I say it) laziness made Studio 60 a show you wanted to like, but just... couldn't. Certainly not the fault of the ensemble cast, featuring great work by Matthew Perry and Steven Weber. Worth watching, if only for the nuggets of gold buried below the surface. Was this review helpful?
