    A good thriller

"Taking Lives" is a very good film noir thriller.Sharply directed by D.J. Caruso, well-written by Jon Bokenkamp from Michael Pye's popular book, nicely photographed, and brilliantly edited by Anne V.Coates, the film moves along briskly and works up quite a head of suspense. The performances are excellent, with Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke especially outstanding. It's nice to see Hawke playing a real creep for once. The movie has enough twists and turns to keep you interested thoroughout. Not as good as "Mystic River",but worth watching.

This movie was all i wanted and more. Iw was smart, unsuspecting, scary, thrilling, and one I could watch over and over. This is a must see. This is a classic.

    awesome suspense movie

i really liked this movie, because it was full of suspense all the way through. Angelina is very sexy along with Ethan Hawk. They made a terriffic on-screen duo. I wish Keefer Sutherland was in it alot longer.

    Disappointing

The first half of this film is good, but unfortunately it runs out of steam half way through and then resorts to gratuitous sex and violence to try and compensate for a weak script.
