Made for tv movie with a big star

A sappy movie with nothing special going on. My problem with this movie is the way that it was marketed, you basically knew the whole story before you watched it. Sandra Bullock fans only.Patrick James: author of The Preacher Man

SANDRA BULLOCK WAS GOOD IN THIS ROLE

The movie was okay, but not worthy of an Oscar. Actually I got bored after the first 30 minutes.

    Decent, but overrated

The Blind Side was a pretty decent feel-good movie, but it certainly wasn't as good as so many made it out to be. Certainly wasn't good enough to have been nominated for Best Film at the Oscars (District 9 anyone?)
    Good:
It had an interesting story behind it, and the dialogue and performances were all pretty good (not disgustingly cheesy) - I even didn't mind the precocious little kid for once.
    Bad:
I think, as usual, they gave away some of the best parts in the trailers, though.
Also could have done with some less football. Yeah, yeah, I know. It's about football. No, it's not. It's about some kid who just happened to play football. And I don't have a problem with sports films. I loved Any Given Sunday, but the football scenes here just left me yawning.

    Inspiring True Story

The movie is great. It is very emotional and inspiring. It is a story line that all true stories should follow.
