Very funny, an overall good movie

Though this movie has been given some bad reviews, I found it very funny, with some romance and a little drama. Zach Braff is a great actor, he is able to be extremly funny and also very serious. It is a good movie for a light, fun watch. I recommend it.

Zach needs to stick to writing movies

This movie tried hard to be funny, but the jokes fell flat and the jumpy, erratic script distracted from the acting, which was not bad. The scenes felt like they were thrown together in editing. It didn't feel like a complete film. The acting was as good as it could be with what the actors had to work with. Jason Bateman was great as a thoroughly evil troublemaker, but the place where they worked was so obnoxious that it was difficult to get over it. The scenes with Amanda and Zach were good. They had great chemistry. My husband and I both thought their scenes together about childbirth and the baby were very realistic, refreshingly so. But that couldn't help the rest of this one. The movie totally wasted the immense comic talents of Amy Poehler and Fred Armisen. Sorry, Zach! Love ya, but you need to write them before you star in them.
