    Favorite Movie

This is 1 of my favorite movies. This was at a time, when poor people couldn't play golf, in America. Only the rich people could play golf. During this time, the British always won the golf championships, and the main character wanted to be the 2nd American person to win the golf championship. I won't tell you if he win, or looses. I recommend that you watch this movie, if you love golf, sports, or just an amazing movie.

Inspire a young child (or older), to do their utmost to make their dreams come true. Any interest in sports, not necessarily just golf, might help.

Inspire a young child (or older), to strive to fulfill dreams, despite obstacles, or being told "it can't be done - by you!".

    Love it!

This is a beautiful movie. It is not action packed but it's quite simplicity and wonderful story makes you truly feel that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. Even if the game of golf doesn't interest you, you will be compelled by this wonderful movie.

    Awesome movie

This was one of my favorite movies. It was easily tied for first, with Miracle (Miracle on Ice about the 1980 olympics), on most inspirational movie. The acting is great and it has some comedic factors about the young Eddie Lowery, Francis Ouimette's caddy. This story did not just create the non-class barrier in golf and inspire young golfers, it can also be applied in every ones dreams, accomplishments, and there means to achieve them.

    Love this movie!!!

I watched this movie when it came on cable one night because there was nothing else on. I loved it! I was surprised by how good it was. I was skeptical of this movie when it first came out, because I absolutely hate golf. This movie is not all about golf. It's basically about beating the odds and following your dreams. That's why I love this movie. It is so good, it deserves six stars. Whether you like golf or hate it, please watch this movie. I highly recommend it.

    A reviewer

This movie is an outstanding showing of a true underdog story. Shia LeBouf did an amazing job as Francis Quinet. I wouldn't usually go for golf movies, but this is a definite exception. It's not really an action movie, but it is a classic by my standards.
