Hard to find out WHAT IS HAPPENING!

The story line left me puzzled and the ending did not help.
"The Mist" was a lot more envolving!

    What's happening? Who cares!

This is the worst Shyamalan movie. Period. Even worse than "Unbreakable". (I hated that one.) The twist that you expect from Shyamalan happens in the first 1/2 hour, but you don't realize that was it until you sit through the whole damn movie. I'll admit, the various death scenes were cool, but that just doesn't make a movie. The acting wasn't bad, but the script was so they kinda cancel each other out. Maybe he was trying to send a message: "It's not nice to mess with Mother Nature" but this was a horrible attempt.

    a little let down...

This movie is a thriller and does keep you on the edge of your seat for most of it, but it is all undermined by the fact that entire theme lacks substance. It hints that the we have abused the earth so much that it revolts against us, which is fair enough, but it does this by having all plant life release a strange neurotoxin in the air.

I sat through the entire film waiting for M.nights' trademark surprise ending, which never came.

It is worth a watch if you see it on cable, but does not live up to M.Night's reputation that he earned through such great films as unbreakable.
