    Review #2

I had previously posted negative feedback due to a faulty DVD. The seller immediately responded and sent me a new DVD that is in perfect working order. Thanks!

    Fantastic Family Fun!

This Disney DVD is sure to delight young viewers. Songs such as "The Bare Necessities" are part of a soundtrack that will make the viewers want to get up and dance around. Mowgli, the protagonist, and his friends Bagheera and Baloo along with his "enemies" Kaa (the hypnotic snake), King Louie (the jazzy monkey), and a sneaky lion will enchant the youth watching this Disney classic. Part of the storyline is to show the true meaning of friendship.

Replacement for my well worn VCR tape

This is my favorite Disney movie of all time & now I've got my son watching it. We had to update our VCR tape to a DVD.

    Still the classic

Had a blast watching this over and over with my 2 1/2 year old. Though he doesn't understand all implications of the story, he loves the characters and has been role-playing Mowgli. With good interaction and discussion, parents can help kids learn a lot from this film, even though it's not an "educational" piece per se. Great intro to jazz music for little kids. As with all Disney, adults can find inside jokes, social commentary and even enjoy singing along with the songs.

Anniversary edition has interesting addt'l features including a short documentary history of making the film -- the last animated film with which Walt Disney was intimately involved before turning his attention to diverse other productions by his company.

Bare nessecities the simple bare nessecities forget about your worries....

Years later I still remember that song. This is my dad's favorite movie and never gets tired of it. my brother and I still laugh at that snake who tries to hypnotize Mowgli. The way his eyes changes colors was weird and funny. I felt bad for black panther hence it seems that he was not taken seriously but still cares for Mowgli and man did Shere Khan scare me when i was a kid next to ms. trunchbull from matilda &quot its fun to look back upon old movies from your childhood and remember what character scared you and to think now that they aren't scary anymore&quot . The monkey banana lover was cool and baloo was my most favorite out of the characters next to the snake. This is the story of a boy named Mowgli who lives in the jungle and strikes a friendship with Baloo. Oh and the vultures and that classic quote: Hey man what do you want to do I don't know man what do you want to do? and so on. They were awesome too. The fight scene between Khan and Baloo was well done and glad that Baloo won in the end oh man was that scary. This is what I guess disney movies are all about and should go back to making them like this.
