    Not a Tolkein Story

While the movie had good cinematic value, it tooks liberties with the characters and altered the story in such a way that I bearly recognized it as the two towers. It was as true to the story as Brahm Stoker's ''Dracula'' or Titanic was to reality.

    Two Towers too short

As pure entertainment goes, this movie is as good as it gets, but long-standing afficianado's will be disappointed by the way the storyline has been modified from the original book. Elves from Lothlorien fight at Helm's Deep, Aragorn is separated after a skirmish from the main war party and Faramir takes Frodo and Sam to Osgiliath? - never happened by Tolkein's account. The Lord of the Rings measures among the greatest, and longest, epic fantasies in modern literature - reducing content is understandable, but creating new content when this was clearly not needed is less understandable.

    Could have been better....

(Yeah, I'm the first one ever!) This movie was kind of disappointing really. The storyline was [sigh] okay; they got the general gist of it. The biggest things that bugged was ''Farfromthebookamir'' and the entirely wrong Osgiliath scene. If you're a Tolkien purist, like me, I'm guessing you will be very disappointed. But, if you haven't even read the books, you'll be happy because you won't notice all the horrible mistakes they made!

    Talk about GREAT!!!!

Wow, this movie was extremly breathtaking. I really liked the battle at Helm's Deep. All those speacial effects were totally awesome! And it was also super exciting when the Ents made their final desision about going to Isengaurd, the stronghold of Saroman, the evil wizard. My favorite characters were Aragon,Eoywn,Faramir, and Legolas,(he is so CUTE!!!)
