    Must See!!!!!!!

I loved this movie! It really holds your attention. Really close to the book, though could be better.

    Great movie!!!!

This movie is great! It has everything you would want in a movie and more. Some gore but not a whole lot. It does not stay very close to the book though...

    I Can't Wait For ROTK

It was remarkable and fair to the book with the exception of Farimar. The special effects were amazing. I cant wait for the extended version and return of the king.

    Let's wait for the EXTENDED!

OK. I am NOT falling for this again. I bought the Fellowship on DVD and had to buy it again when the Special Edition came out. I see that there WILL be a SE of this one. I'm waiting for the SE, I KNOW I'll have to by it anyway. Just HURRY! :-)

    The Two Towers

One of the Best Movies of 2002! Though it is not as great as the first movie. This is one DVD that I will keep forever. There is a bit more action in this one then the other. Cant wait for The Return of the King!

    stunning, even if flawed

The Two Towers continues where Fellowship left off. Jackson and his team have created a visually stunning film that is replete with eye-popping effects; from Helm's Deep to the integration of the digital Gollum, the film is a masterwork of what can be done visually. Storywise, the film deviates from Tolkien's written words. For the most part this can be overlooked as there is much happening in the books and not enough time to go through it all. However, those who love the books will be turned off by the re-writing of the character of Faramir. As Boromir's brother, Faramir was to be the one who resisted the Ring, the one who, in fact, did not even want to see the Ring. In the film, though, he becomes as corrupt as his brother, insisting the Ring return with him to Gondor. It is a blatant reversal and erasure of what his character was all about. All in all, even with that one glaring alteration, The Two Towers is epic storytelling done extremely well, and there are scenes that will stick in your mind long after you have finished watching it.
